On July 7, Space is the Place presented an evening of sizzling, cross-border music. The band Silverbones played their mix of free jazz, punk, electronica and folk; Terrie Ex went wild playing solo on his guitar, as well as John Dikeman on his tenor sax. ZEA + Oscar Jan Hoogland made their fat-free music without waste; cheerfully stubborn, wonderfully bonkers. Finally, the Dutch troublemakers of Charlie & the Lesbians were filthy, rude and in your face and happy to show you all aspects of punk. And all that in one big party night!
