On Saturday the 28th of May we were at De Helling in Utrecht: Is This Cumbia?!

The crazy trio Los Pirañas from Bogota (Colombia) gave the cumbia their own twist with bouncing rhythms and the Amterdam sextet Bacchanalia gave a range of Latin American styles some direct uppercuts. The evening was completed by the pure, raw energy of Cactus Truck and the enchanting, dazzling total performance of Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti.
