CANCELLED: THE 2ND STOP IS JUPITER
SA 11 Dec
THIS EVENT HAS BEEN CANCELLED
This time we will not have the 2nd Stop is Jupiter on the Friday, but on Saturday afternoon. As we are not allowed to dance on our feet, we’ll get you moving on your chairs. The musicians will be playing in Roda da Samba setting, seated around a big table (and who knows dancing on it). Bring your own drinks, we’ll provide uplifting rhythms and amazing movement this evening, while making sure to keep you safe – following all the protocols.
Mother Tongue
Mola Sylla, Oscar Jan Hoogland and Frank Rosaly form Mother Tongue. Rosaly has been involved in the improvised and experimental music community since 2001, navigating a fine line between the vibrant improvised music, experimental, rock and jazz communities. Like Rosaly, singer and percussionist Mola Sylla is in many ways a musical explorer. Sylla’s rhythm and melodic compositions differ from the recognized western patterns and provide surprising twists.
Oscar Jan Hoogland is the sound of Amsterdam in person. He is an instant composer and inventor of his own instrument by joining a clavichord, a keyboard instrument from the 17th century, to 220 Volt electricity. He tears like a tornado through the Amsterdam jazz and impro scene.

Mime Fabriek
Río Dulce+ETNA
A movement duo from dancer Clotilde Cappelletti and mimer Matteo Bifulco, where stillness is used as a base to find urgency and necessity. Inspired by stones that lay in a river and exploding volcanoes.
Mime Fabriek is a meeting point; a platform for the local and international mime community. An environment to grow, do research and create.
Superinca and The Galactic Green
Cumbia punk rock and tons of endless energy make Superinca & the Galactic Green a magical act to witness. They can play for hours on end, combining screaming stubborn keyboards, sweet perfect guitar harmonies, carried with the never ending swing of the bass and the drums while singing and bouncing us all towards a trancelike state.
Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti a.k.a. Superinca is an independent artist, performer, theatre maker, vocalist, visual artist, musician and teacher in various collaborations. The core of her work is interdisciplinary. Weaving with elegance within that ‘inter’ space, where disciplines fade and rhyme towards, perhaps unknown and renewed story telling possibilities.
“I am as well a shamanic practitioner, a spiritual activist, a femme defender and a Moon lover. I am undefinable and yet I always know the source that is moving me. Welcome to my little universe!” Ibelisse
