Such a shitty December month for arts and culture. Therefore, reason enough to end this year with a (literally) BANG. A little music feast, within Corona rules, with the rich variety of Space Impro and the Ruimte, and homemade oliebollen for everybody. ZEA presents his brandly new album ‘Witst noch dat d’r neat wie’, the lovely Michael Moore and Jodi Gilbert perform some beautiful songs and we end the year with firework from two of Amsterdam greatest drummers: Sun-Mi Hong & Tristan Renfrow.
ZEA
Zea is a solo performance from Arnold de Boer (Amsterdam, NL) deploying guitar and sampler for an almighty bout of intense and high energy songs. Urgent lyrics over guitar, roughshod beats and grimy bass lines. Zea makes fat-free music with no words wasted; joyfully obstinate, wonderfully bonkers. For more than fifteen years Zea has been playing all over the world.
Half November ZEA released his beautiful new album ‘Witst noch dat d’r neat wie’, which has received very positive reviews so far by ao Oor, 3voor12 and Written in Music. ‘An admirable and nutritious total work of art’.

MICHAEL MOORE / JODI GILBERT
A wonderful duo: Jodi Gilbert and Michael Moore, both as life partners and musicians. For decades, Michael Moore has been known for his warm timbre and sublime timing and Jodi Gilbert for her enchantingly beautiful and wonderfully supple voice. They played in dozens of bands, ensembles and companies, purely musically, but also theatrically or in combination with dance.

SUN-MI HONG / TRISTAN RENFROW
Sun-Mi Hong and Tristan Renfrow form a drum ensemble that is focused on the original expression of eccentric rhythm, unhindered by genres or other barriers, and explosive in character. Expect to hear the room resonate. The music will be purely improvised material.
