For a number of years, cumbia rhythms have become more intertwined in different jazz and pop cultures. The crazy trio Los Pirañas from Bogota (Colombia) gives the cumbia their own twist with bouncing rhythms and the Amsterdam sextet Bacchanalia gives a range of Latin American styles some direct uppercuts. The evening is completed by the pure, raw energy of Cactus Truck and the enchanting, dazzling total performance of Ibelisse Guardia Ferragutti.
