FELICITY PROVAN & ADA RAVE
Both musicians are from the southern hemisphere (Argentina and Australia) and have been playing in various ensembles together since 2013. They are improvisers who share a background in (free) jazz but have continued to develop their personal sound and musical interests even after their move to Amsterdam. Their improvisations are outspoken stories through tenor sax, cornet and voice that arise on the spot and are by definition unique.

REMCO MENTING SOLO
After studying jazz drums at the Conservatorium van Amsterdam, Menting played in a wide variety of bands in recent years as a drummer, of which jazz trio Kapok was the most important. Kapok won the Dutch Jazz Award, the European Jazz Award and the Edison Audience Award.
In addition to many performances at home and abroad, Menting has always been involved in teaching, both on a regular basis as with workshops & group sessions. He is also directing groups, next to improvising and performing himself.
WILBERT DE JOODE & KENZO KUSUDA
Masters of improvisation, Willbert as bassist, Kenzo as dancer. Both artists are very active in the improv scene of Amsterdam and beyond. This Sunday they perform as a duo.
GERRI JÄGER SOLO
Gerri Jäger makes anti-discriminatory, non-violent and prejudice-free music for the open-minded. Made with drums and electronics: off beats, open improv, odd melodies and raw electronics.
Following his conservatory studies in Amsterdam, the Austrian-born drummer immersed himself in experimental music, combining his drums with the kind of gear mostly associated with DJ’s or guitarists.
FABIENNE RACHMADIEV
Fabienne Rachmadiev writes essays, fiction and art criticism for i.a. De Gids, de Groene, Metropolis M, NRC, de Revisor, Terras and Tirade. She also curates events where theory, literature, art and performance are combined. At the moment she’s finishing her dissertation and working on her first novel, which will be published by Das Mag.
