Such an opening of a new season! This is an evening with a variety of sounds and approaches: two splendid bands, with many of our favourite jazz musicians playing honest and highly authentic music.

Will a late summer performance of this piano trio be a yearly tradition? Last year they played a wonderful two set-concert in De Ruimte and we are happy we will welcome them again. Drummer Flin van Hemmen lives in New York for quite a while now, but the magic between his companions Harmen Fraanje (piano) and Clemens van der Feen (double bass) is still there. This piano trio plays highly authentic, honest and simply beautiful music. Not to miss.
