Orbits is an Amsterdam-based collective focused on developing and showcasing the
city’s improvised music scene, having organized many events in the last 2 years.
The Fall Series – now in its 2nd yearly edition – brings together a diverse selection of
adventurous music in monthly events (October, November, December) to celebrate
the windy and cloudy season.

The 2025 November edition features a rather eclectic lineup.
Vera Morais (voice) will premiere a project based on original text, bringing together 3
pianists – Oscar Jan Hoogland, Lida Brouskari and Inês Lopes – who in turn are
bringing an electric clavichord, a theremin, and a toy piano.
The sax and piano duo Tangerine (Aviv Noam and Danielle Friedman) will present
their take on Avant-Garde jazz with a touch of humor, with original compositions from
their EP “Time Without Disasters”.
Finally, drummer Spooky-J (known from the band Nihiloxica) will take over the stage
with his frenetic avalanche of a solo project, expanding on his fierce rhythmic drive
with live effects manipulation and drum triggers.
