The seven-piece Orquesta del Tiempo Perdido led by multi-instrumentalist Jeroen Kimman can be described as ‘post-everything’, somewhere between contemporary classical, jazz experimental electro-acoustic music, math rock, pop, non-Western folk and vaudeville. The septet contains some of Amsterdam’s finest creative players.

ROMAN HIELE
Roman Hiele is a composer and performer of electronic music. Hiele has released various ambient and experimental music styles on Belgian labels such as Stroom, Ultra Eczema, Ekster, and his own imprint Universal Exports. Hiele performs his music globally and has completed several artist residencies. He has collaborated with numerous other musicians, as well as undertaking music and sound design work for film, theatre and art projects.

GIOVANNI IACOVELLA
Audio-visual performance by Giovanni Iacovella is a drummer and improviser drifting between the worlds of improvised and electro-acoustic music. In his solo ‘Meaningful Numbers’ he focuses on the use of acoustic drums and resonating objects, creating sonic landscapes of where one finds intricate polyrhythmic juxtaposition, abstract drones and hyperkinetic noise.

MARIEKE VAN DE VEN
Inspired by the sounds that surround us, Marieke van de Ven explores the intersection between acoustic and electronic sound. Within the stratification of field recordings, abstract sounds, interviews and text, she investigates the relation between sound and storytelling. Marieke makes podcasts, soundwalks, electro acoustic music, and field recordings. Over the last years she established a repertoire of various multidisciplinary collaborations with musicians, choreographers, dancers and writers. Her work has been performed in the Netherlands, Belgium, Canada and the United States.
