After the success of last year Space is the Place again co-produces the musical bicycle tour around Amsterdam-Noord with intimate, adventurous & exciting concerts; this time on five different locations! On the line-up: Ophelia Hié & Thibaud Soulas, Diamanda Dramm, De Kift, John Dikeman & Ernst Glerum + Objet Sonore and Superinca & the Galactic Green.
There are two routes, A and B. The start location and end location is for both routes the same; the other three locations are in different order for route A and route B. So in the end, everybody hears the same musicians! You can also buy just a ticket for the festive end concert at the Schram Studios.
Afterwards: at Restaurant SEMAI – Hanse-Meskel Festival (including the Amsterdam Ethio improv band Adulis)

ARTISTS
WAMA: OPHELIA HIÉ & THIBAUD SOULAS
Unique French duo that fuses double bass and balafon into a warm, rhythmic and melodic musical language of afro and jazz, with an eye for the audience and aimed at the heart.
SPIRITUALS: JOHN DIKEMAN & ERNST GLERUM + OBJET SONORE – Improvisations on saxophone and piano, fueled by African-American gospel and European church hymns, supported by a gigantic 6.5 meter horn.
DE KIFT
Catching, multi-piece band, born out of a brass band and baptized in punk. De Kift has been touring for 35 years with poetic Dutch texts from world literature: sometimes danceable, sometimes stunning, completely authentic.
DIAMANDA DRAMM
Exciting young violinist from a family of musicians par excellence, with a broad repertoire rooted in contemporary classical, free improvisation and avant-garde music from Amsterdam.
SUPERINCA & THE GALACTIC GREEN
Magical, hyper-energetic music that invites you to dance, where harmonies merge into a trance with inspiration from Colombian cumbia, experimental electronics and punk rock.
