NEW LOCATION SOON TO BE ANNOUNCED
This time we will not have the 2nd Stop is Jupiter on the Friday, but on Saturday afternoon. As we are not allowed to dance on our feet, we'll get you moving on your chairs. The musicians will be playing in Roda da Samba setting, seated around a big table (and who knows dancing on it). Bring your own drinks, we'll provide uplifting rhythms and amazing movement this evening, while making sure to keep you safe - following all the protocols.
Due to the new Corona measures this event has been cancelled. We hope to present the evening at an alternative date soon.
Space is the Place presents a new edition of the Intergalactic Nights, illustrious evenings with performances in all kinds of genres and disciplines, from jazz, improv and classical to dance, theater, poetry and literature. The house pianist is Ernst Glerum, who’s also known as the double bass player of the ICP Orchestra and the Benjamin Herman Trio.

CHARLIE & THE LESBIANS
Space is the Place presents an evening of sizzling, cross-border music. The band Silverbones plays their mix of free jazz, punk, electronica and folk; Terrie Ex goes wild playing solo on his guitar, as well as John Dikeman on his tenor sax. ZEA + Oscar Jan Hoogland make their fat-free music without waste; cheerfully stubborn, wonderfully bonkers. Finally, the Dutch troublemakers of Charlie & the Lesbians are filthy, rude and in your face and are happy to show you all aspects of punk. And all that in one big party night!
We celebrate the beauty and diversity of the cello on this adventurous Sunday afternoon in the beautiful Dokzaal, near Artis. Expect brilliant lyricism, brutality and quirkiness in an intimate atmosphere where you sit on top of the musicians. And afterwards we eat soup and vegetarian croquettes!
